John, do you speak any Czech or other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | cs-3 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively and advanced Czech, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, etc. It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree!

Hi John, your profile looks ok from my perspective.

I have a 1698 Ichabod Bonney on my tree -- son of 1663/64 John (Elizabeth Bishop) Bonney, son of early 1600s Thomas (Mary Elizabeth Hunt) Bonney -- although those b. dates between Thomas and John don't seem right. Don't know if this fits into your tree or not. I don't have a Polly associated with Ichabod in any way (but that doesn't mean it couldn't have been). Perez Bonney (b. 1708/09) was Ichabod's younger brother according to my records. Let me know if you want any info I have on any of these -- can't guarantee accuracy.

I saw that you updated the mother of William Bonney -- her info I had, but I checked to see if you might have something I did not. I found his wife's maiden name which I did not have. Thank you. I have birth dates for both of them if you want them (but I am sorry I do not recall the source for them -- I need a better way of keeping track of sources). William Bonney is my mother-in-law's 3rd great-granduncle.

Hello John!

How are you doing? Hope you're enjoying our site.

Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide.

Also Help Index with links to topics you may have questions on. Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

And of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able. Just ask!

Hey John,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Happy to say Welcome! Shirley
