Biography

Lambert Meunier was born about 1811. (listed as 40 in 1851 census)[1]

Lambert married Christine Dansereau on 8 Nov 1836 in Verchères.[2][3]

The last act found in Verchères for this family is on 28 Jan 1860, the baptism of their son Louis.[4]; They are not found on 1861 census of Canada, so presumed to have left to go south after this birth.

no baptism has been found for him under the name Lambert. Of the baptisms not otherwise identified for boys in this family, there are 3 (all in Verchères): Pierre, b & bapt. 12 Aug 1801[5]; Robert, b 12 May 1807 bapt. 13th[6]; and Joseph, b 22 Jul 1810 bapt. 23rd[7]; he is listed as of age on his marriage, majority then being 21.

Their most-recent common ancestors are Augustin Bruno Meunier and Marie Louise Praxède Petit, the 3x great grandparents of Russell Butler and 4x great grandparents of both ED and AM.
