Laura was born in 1938. She was the daughter of Samuel McWhorter and Grace Youngblood. She passed away in 2020.
She married James Sterrett Caldwell III in 1964. Their children were John V. Caldwell and Dan Caldwell.
Laura was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Cincinnati for 40 years.
