Biography
Richard was born in 1934. He was the son of Eura McWhorter and Mary George. He passed away in 2018.
He married Norma Jeanette Thacker on 08 March, 1956. Their child was Lori (McWhorter) Graman.
Richard worked at McNally Pittsburg MFG for many years until its closing and he then went on to work at Circleville Metal Works. Most recently he worked for and retired from BrenMar Construction, Inc.
Richard was actively involved in the Vinton County Democratic Party and was also elected to the Democratic Central Party Committee. He was also an election poll worker. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved watching Vinton County Viking sports. He was a past member of the United and American kennel clubs and the Jackson/ Vinton County Coon Hunter Association. Richard was a member of the former Hamden Church of the Nazarene and a current member of Freedom Chapel of Wellston.
Richard passed away on 25 January, 2018 in Jackson, Jackson, Ohio followed with burial at the at the Hamden Cemetery in Hamden, Vinton, Ohio.
