So glad you've joined the Appalachia Project and a lot of the teams, including the South Central Appalachia Team. I'm the team leader of that group and, like all the team leaders who are sending you welcomes, I'm happy to help you in any way that I can. When you have the chance, please add your South Central Appalachia interests next to your name on our South Central Team page.
Many of us hang out on our Discord channel -- a really good way to reach out for help -- or with help -- to get to know us and talk about genealogy, Appalachia, biscuits, and tons of other topics. We'll talk about anything! Here's the link: Discord Chat Channel
Welcome to the Appalachia Project - North Central Appalachia Team!
When you have the chance, please add your North Central Appalachia interests next to your name on this page. Also, please review our Reliable (and Unreliable) Sources for the Appalachia Project [1] to help with sourcing our Profiles as you add or come across them. WikiTree requires valid sources on all Profiles and our Project has certain requirements for sources. Check the Appalachia Stickers Page for tips on adding stickers to profiles.
I am always available for any questions or help. Thanks for joining the team.

Hi Rita, My wife's mother's maiden name was McCollum. Her FamilySearch ID# GWXB-3ZB. Don't know if there is any matches to your tree...but you're more than welcome to look.
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
