Biography
Aaria was born 2 Aug 1916[1] at Athol, MA.[2] She was the daughter of Harold Marshall and Hazel Allen.[2]
She married George Corkum on 1 Sep 1938.[3] Her husband was attending college when WWII broke out. He would enlist in the U.S. Army on 27 Oct 1943 and served for the final two years of the war, being discharged on 31 Oct 1945.[4]
After the war George went back to his career as an insurance underwriter.[5] By this time, the couple had two daughters, one born on each end of the war.
George would pass away in July, 2003,[6] about a month and a half before their 65th wedding anniversary. He was laid to rest in the Mount Height Cemetery at Athol. Aaria passed away on 11 Apr 2004[1][2] and would be buried next to her husband of so many years.[1]
