Esther, daughter of Patrick and Catherine (née Mahon) Lawlor, was born on the 14th February 1902 in Carrigacurra, County Wicklow.[1][2]
Esther Lawlor of Carrigacurra, County Wicklow married Thomas Mackey of Lackan, County Wicklow on the 25th November 1921 in St Kevin's, Dublin, in the presence of William Abraham and Rose J. Lawlor.[3]
They had three children:
Mary Teresa, b.27th February 1922 in Blessington, County Wicklow.
William Thomas, b.22nd August 1930 in Celbridge, County Kildare.

Research Notes
Despite Esther's birth cert recording a birth date of 3rd March 1902[1] she always maintained that she was born on Valentine's Day (14th February).[2] It was not uncommon at the time for DOBs to be "adjusted" when registering to avoid paying fines for late registrations. - Hennigan-514 20:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
