William was born in 1893. He was the son of William Jones and Charlotte Low.
His father passed away in 1903.
He served in the 1st World War, attaining the rank of Sergeant in the 2nd South Africa Horse. He passed away in 1916, killed in action. William was aged 23 and unmarried.
