Betsy daughter Elizabeth Bankhead is named in Cherokee Petition 1888, (descendants of James, Jones)

Reported son Elijah may have not reached age, or died before the 1880 Roll, or he may have not enrolled, unknown and currently being researched.

Elizabeth Bankhead shown as (under 5 years), on Richard's 1840 census, making her born closer to 1835.

Research Note

Elizabeth Hampton died intestate in Indian Territory in July 1906. Her estate was valued at $300 by A. Hampton and her heirs were named as Theo Jones, Collin Rafferty, Margarite Underwood, Elizabeth Martin, Alabama Hampton, and A. Hampton. The document was signed by H. Hampton. Except for Alabama Hampton, whose location was unknown, the heirs all resided in Indian Territory on 2 Sep 1906. There is no mention of anyone named Blevins. (See Probate Record)
