Obituary of John A. Jones John A. Jones was born on June 17, 1852, and died at his home in Nashville, Tenn., on January 17, 1921. Brother Jones was born and reared at Little Lot, Hickman County, Tenn. He obeyed the gospel early in life and remained in the church to the day of his death. He moved to Nashville fourteen years ago, and worshiped with the Reid Avenue Church until his death. He leaves a wife and four children, also one sister, to mourn the departure of the loved one; but with a hope, if they will be true to God, that they can shake hands with him again in a brighter home than this. -A. S. Derryberry. Gospel Advocate, February 24, 1921, page 200.
Spouse Emma Hill Jones 1857–1926
