The 1930 Census^[1] shows him at age 15 in the home of his parents in Hamilton Township, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.

He married Emma J. Beatty on 28 Mar 1942 in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.^[2] Their known child:

The 1950 Census^[3] shows him at age 34 in the home of his parents in Hamilton Township, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. He is separated from his wife. He is a glass plant worker.

Thessie died on 9 Mar 1993 in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma,^{[4] [5] [6]} and is buried at the Tuskegee Cemetery in Edna, Creek County, Oklahoma.^[7]
