Frances was Choctaw.

Frances was born 4 May 1848 in Skullyville, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, the daughter of John L. Jones and Sophia Ann Brashears. Frances passed away 27 May 1932 in Lebanon, Marshall, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Marshall County, Oklahoma.[2]
