Note
Note: Sarah Ellen Jenkins and William Thomas Jenkins were twins. Sarah died only 15 days after birth. There is some question about whether they were born in 1851 or 1852. The earlier year is from the census. The later year is from family records submitted by William's descendants. No birth certificates were available at that time.
Kanesville was a small unincorporated town and Council Bluffs was the post office. Some children list one as their birthplace and some list the other. There were no birth certificates or records made then.
ENDOWMENT: Sarah Ellen's endowment work was re-done on 4 Oct 1967 in the Los Angeles temple by an unknown proxy.
