Garnet Bonita Folmsbee FOLMSBEE, Garnet Bonita Age 91, of Eugene, Oregon passed away Sunday, June 21, 1998. She was born January 30, 1907 in Portland, Oregon to Ross and Renie (Custer) Jenkins. Garnet was united in marriage to Vivian Folmsbee on February 22, 1925 in Toledo, Oregon. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1986. She had lived in the Olalla and Tenmile area since 1936 and moved to Eugene in 1975. She was a 50-year member of the Evergreen Grange. She also loved to make beautiful crocheted items. Survivors include a daughter, Effie May Morgan of Eugene, Oregon; a brother, LeRoy Jenkins and his wife, Gladys, of Dashler, Nebraska; a grandson, Richard Morgan and his wife, Mary, of Eugene, Oregon; two great-grandchildren, Dawn Marie Brucker and her husband Charlie and Bret Michael Morgan and his wife Sarah, all of Portland, Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 1998 at 2 p.m., at the Tenmile Cemetery near Tenmile. Visitation time will be from 9 until 11 a.m., on Wednesday at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be made to any favorite charity. WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in charge of arrangements.
