I just sent you a private email. I'm looking forward to working with you.
I just sent you a private message concerning pre-1700 profiles. If you didn't receive it, can you let me know? Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.
Sorry for all the merge requests. Looks like you made several duplicate profiles a while ago. Also, please make sure that you fully document your sources used as shown in our guidelines, especially for Pre-1700 profiles. While images are great, you need to make sure that there are no copyright issues. I know that Ancestry.com has some restrictions on the use of images from their website. Take a look at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources#Examples Thank you for all of your contributions to our tree.
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a while now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions? Let me know if you need any tips to help you get more of your family members added.

PS Thanks for your contributions so far! Please do return to the profiles you create to add more biographical details and sources -- this is the best way to create an interesting, accurate, and well-rounded story of your family. The easiest way to find info and sources is to use the handy RootsSearch link on the right side of any profile. Use your WikiTree login to access over 20 websites. Once you find a correct source, copy and paste the citation info and add it to the profile. Learn more about sources here. As others have mentioned, the England project has resources that may help you. The England project also has an excellent self-paced course called the Orphan Trail that provides valuable tips on finding sources and formatting English profiles. You can also find other projects that suit other areas of your research.
You might want to take a look at Biography Sections. Each = is a two level heading. Biography and Sources should not be deleted, and < references/ > (without spaces) should follow the Sources heading. That way the sources will appear on the profile.
Just to note the link that Bruce supplied below for Pre-1700 sources. An online family tree is not a reliable Pre-1700 source. You should use sources referenced from that tree instead. The England project might be able to help you.
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

Thanks for self-certifying for pre-1700 profiles and creating many such profiles including Philippa Caunter (1660-), Peter Chaffe (1659-), Grace Knowling (1685-), and Martin Field (1682-1776).
However, none of the profiles I reviewed of the many you recently created satisfy the requirements of citing reliable sources for pre-1700 profiles that you agreed to when you self-certified.
Please do not make any more pre-1700 profiles until you have had time to go back and provide reliable sources for the ones you created today.
If you need help finding reliable sources, please look to a project that covers the individuals you are creating, such as Project England.
I can also try to help if you have questions you'd like to direct to me or if you have questions on my post here.
Thanks.
-William
You are now a Family Member! I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do, as it is a lot of fun and there are tons of great people collaborating.
We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration. Don't be afraid to ask questions in our G2G forum and get involved as much or as little as works for you. Be sure to check out the tabs at the very top right hand side of your profile, there is lots to discover!
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person.
Happy tree climbing!
