Biography

In 1857, Florence Miller Hunter's birth was registered in the district of Balmain (now a suburb of Sydney) in the colony of New South Wales. In the absence of more detailed information it has been assumed that Florence was born about 1857, in Sydney.^[1]
She married on 21 Oct 1881 in Queensland and raised her family of seven recorded children - though, sadly, her youngest daughter died aged only 5 years old.

Having outlived at least two of her daughters, Florence Miller Ogg (nee Hunter) died on 21 Dec 1920 and was buried in the South Rockhampton Cemetery, Rockhampton, Queensland. ^{[2] [3]}
