When Dora Belle Ellen Huffman was born on 16 September 1880, in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States, her father, John Goodman Huffman, was 23 and her mother, Ellen Selena Little, was 19.[1]
She married Andrew James Oliver Moore on 2 September 1896.[2]
They were the parents of at least 3 daughters.[3]
In 1910, Andrew and Dora lived in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States with two (2) daughters.[4]
On 06 Nov 1918 their fourteen (14) year old daughter, Viola Pearl Moore, died from a streph infection in the nose and throat with diptheria in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina.[5]
Viola is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory, Catawba County, North Carolina, USA.[6]
In 1920, Andrew and Dora and their two (2) daughters lived in Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[7]
In 1930, the two (2) daughters were still living at home in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States with two (2) Boarders.[8]
By 1940, the girls moved out, but Andrew and Dora were still living in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[9]
She died on 21 May 1976, in Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States, at the age of 95,[10] and was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory, Catawba, North Carolina, United States.[11]
