== Biography
Hi! I am a fifth-generation Texan. However, I have probably spent more time in Scarsdale, NY and in Greenwich, CT than in Texas. I earned two degrees in Texas, my undergraduate degree in languages (French, Italian and Greek) and my law degree. Between those two degrees, I worked at the United Nations speaking French. After returning to Texas to study for my law degree, I spent many years practicing law in New York City and Westchester County. I am living in Texas now and I guess you might call me a reader and writer of history. About 30 years ago I had a sudden desire to learn everything I could about American history. Later, I became interested in English and Scottish history. Texas history has always fascinated me since was in 7th grade "Texas History" class. Because I was interested in learning about my forefathers' and mothers' roles in history, I became "hooked" on geneaology. I read or write about history or do some geneaology research almost everyday. It is my "dream job". P.S.- When I was a newborn and my mother was recuperating from my delivery, she had to pick out a name for me. (My parents hoped for a boy since I already had an older sister.) Someone had left a movie magazine in her hospital room and she came across the name of a French-Canadian actress whose last name was Charron. My mother thought that it would be a better first name for me instead of "Sharon". Thank you mother for making me spell my name for my entire life! (And I still love you, wherever you are!)
