Biography

Sancha (Herédia) de Herédia was born in Portugal.

Dona^[1] Sancha Herédia was born before 1593 in Portugal. She was the daughter of Captain ^[2] António de Herédia and Dona Anna de Cuebas, of Baeza, Spain.

Sancha married Captain António de Meza on the 13th of June 1611 in the parish of Sé.^[3] Sancha's children were all baptized in the church Our Lady of the Assumption in the parish of Sé.

Research Notes

• Sancha's father, Antonio Heredia, is said to have been born in Avila, Castilla-Leon, Spain. He died 3 Dec 1624. I don't see a death date for her mother, Anna Cuebas/Cubas. de Meza is a Spanish surname so both her and her husband were most likely born in Spain.
