James Harland and Rebecca Kirke
Michael Harland, son of James Harland, and youngest brother of Thomas Harland and George Harland, was born "Nigh Durham, in Bishoprick, England, about the year 1660", and in early life, with his brothers, went into Ireland and settled with them in the County of Down. Here he remained until 1687, when he accompanied his brother George to America. [1]
Michael married Dinah Dixon on January 1690 at the Newark MM in New Castle, Delaware.[2]
They had the following children:
Michael died in 1729. He was buried at the Kennett Friends Burial Ground in Kennett Square, Chester, Pennsylvania.[3]
