Hi - thanks so much for joining Team L'Chaim for the Connect-a-Thon last weekend - we enjoyed having you, and appreciate your contributions! Glad to see you on Discord!
Hi Lynn -thank you for being a member of the Jewish Roots Project! I wanted to let you know about some new things we have going on.

- You can see new tabs at the top of our home page, where you can select topics to view or work on. You can also use our new maintenance categories - feel free to add them to your own family, or any other Jewish Roots profile, or work on the maintenance yourself, such as adding new records to profiles with only a couple sources.

-I'm sending an invitation to join GoogleGroups, which we are re-starting this week. We'll probably do most group chat there, but the most important things will be posted on G2G, which you will be notified about if you follow the jewish_roots tag.

-You can also join Wikitree's discord server, where we have a Jewish Roots chat channel.

-If you have ideas or suggestions for the project, feel free to reply here or send me a message.

Thank you! -Elaine, co-leader for Jewish Roots Project

Thanks! I joined GoogleGroups and am now on Wikitree's discord server.

Hi, Lynn, how's the Clean-a-Thon going for you? Would you be interested in a Google Hangout for Team 811 to chat while we work? We can use it to ask for tips or help with gnarly profiles, suggestions on staying awake, encouragement and general silliness as we get more tired. If you're interested, reply to the email using your Google email address and I'll add you to the hangout.

Hi, Lynn, are you ready for the Clean-a-Thon that starts tonight at midnight EDT (GMT-4)? Only a few hours to go, so review the tips and tricks on the Team page and get your cleaning supplies ready.

The page has a list of who is working on which areas. If you're going to concentrate on a location or time period, feel free to edit and add notes. It will help us avoid stepping on toes. Also, consider joining us in the chat thread in G2G.

Debi ~ Team 811 co-captain

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, the public comment on your profile has working versions.

The Clean-a-thon facilitator just contacted me about our team. She says you've not yet registered for the Clean-a-thon. We really are looking forward to having you on Team 811. Would you take a minute to register in the current G2G registration post. Thanks!

Hi Lynn. Thanks for your help on Richard Wardle-558 . Looks like the same to me for names . I'm sure it is the same. I'm not real good ar looking up things like this so I just go with what others have found for me. So thanks for your help.

Hey Lynn,

Will you be participating in the 2018 Spring Clean-a-thon April 21-23? Team 811 will be participating again with Lori and I as co-captains. We would love to have you join us!

Lynn, Ian, Hello! WE WELCOME YOU into the Jewish Roots Project's conversations of all of us who know we have them and those who don’t quite know if we have Jewish Roots!

I'm sending this because You've almost signed up. We will send you a badge and a project summary soon. Would you please go to "Requests for Project Volunteers" and then to our "HOW to GET STARTED TODAY" note. There, please list your specific interests for researching your Jewish Roots (Your Testing Results from two sites is a very good reason!). It will prompt others signing in and listing theirs, as required by our project Leader. We each and all should GAIN from our collaborative conversations!

Roberta Burnett, Project Coordinator

Hey Lynn, I certainly agree with you about: wikitree should not actively suggest "British Colonial America" when it is not approved for use... It took me a while to figure it out. g2g says that the suggested locations are from FamilySearch. I really don't know why they were added, I believe it just causes confusion.
Yes Ma'am, I did notice that many Marvin Surname had been adopted in that general Area, John
