Hello Debbie,

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Debbie:

Do you have anymore info on Charles Morgan , Colonel Morgan Morgan's son ? Born March 20, 1724 - died 1788. WOULD LIKE TO find out where he is buried. Having our Morgan Reunion July 30 and we have a descendant attending.

Thanks

Hi Gary,

Charles is an uncle for me, so I haven't done as much research on him as I would if he were a direct ancestor. I just pulled him up in my tree and looked at the Hints for him in Ancestry to see if they show burial info and I didn't find anything. In fact, some show him having died in West Virginia and others in Kentucky. Often there is a FInd-a-Grave link for the profiles on Ancestry, but there isn't one for him.

So I went to Geni and pulled up his profile there. They show this:

March 20, 1724 Christiana, New Castle, Delaware, Colonial America Death: circa 1762 (33-42) Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, Virginia

which is yet a third place of death...and nothing about where he's buried.

https://www.geni.com/people/Charles-Morgan/6000000038743987418?through=6000000006954820513

There are a lot of notes in Geni profile but nothing about his burial. Sorry I don't have any info on that.

Best regards,

Debbie
