Biography
Of Palmerston North.
He was the 2nd son of Edith Elizabeth Flowerday and Frederick George Fairey (c1876-1963), of Palmerston North. His grandparents were Edward Sumner Fairey (1850-1926) and Sarah Ellen Chittenden (1852-1878).
On 9 March 1927 at St Patrick's Church, Palmerston North, he married 1ly Philomena Adelene de Rossa, 2nd daughter of Mr & Mrs J De Rossa, with issue two children: Maybell and Fred. They were later divorced. She died on 29 September 1978, aged 74.
In about 1960 he married 2ly Mary Emily Dorset Clark, without issue.
He died in 1988.
