HI, V. ON May 25 you created the line of Jean Vincent D'Abbadie down to Eugene Derouen and all of them were duplicates. Since you are very new, you probably haven't heard about the set up of WikiTree. Here, unlike other sites, we only have one profile per person and many people share those older ancestors. So duplicates need to be merged. Please promptly approve the merges that were sent to you by email.
It's really important not to make duplicates because it is time consuming for others to fix them, and every time one of these duplicates is accessed, it adds computer time, a precious resource for a free site. The best way to find a duplicate is before you make one. Use this tutorial (with images) to learn how to search. If you are looking for an Acadian or a Cajun and can't find them, please check with one of the projects and we can help you.
Here's the link, please follow these steps for anyone born before 1850 as many Acadians and Cajuns are already in Wikitree and it makes your job easier to link to them.

Thank you,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
