On March 8, 1803, he received a land grant in Christian County, Kentucky for 200 acres. This area is noted as being a part of Grants South of the Green River in the book Kentucky Land Grants, Volume 1.
Isaac married Elizabeth Fort on January 7, 1811 in Christian County, Kentucky. They had seven children: Henry, David, William, Olive, Micajah, Gary and Orin. Elizabeth died in 1830.
Isaac married Sally Parker on November 1, 1831 in Madison County, Kentucky. They had one child, Joseph Davis. The will of Isaac Davis denotes that two of Sally's daughters were Nancy Wilson and Sally Wilson.
In June 1832, Isaac died in Christian County, Kentucky.
