William Davies was born in Somerset, England.

William Bramwell DAVIES ^{[1] [2] [3]} , son of Thomas Sydney DAVIES and Harriet Ada BLACKETT, was probably born near Bridgwater, Somerset, England; he was baptised on 25 July 1885, in North Petherton, Somerset, England. ^[1]

William Davies migrated from Somerset, England to the Colony of Victoria.

William's family returned to the Colony of Victoria during the late 1880s, They moved progressively northward (residences include Benalla around 1890); by 1900 they were living near Urana, in the Colony of New South Wales.

William married Vera Jean HORE on 29 April 1920 ^[4] , at Albury, New South Wales (registered in 1920 at Albury) ^[4]. They had at least two children: Olive and Thomas.

William died on 30 December 1956 ^{[2] [3]} , at Wagga Wagga, New South Wales (registered in 1957 at Wagga Wagga) ^[2]; he was buried at Wagga Wagga Lawn Cemetery (plot: IRS-0005) ^[3].

Birth: William was baptised 25 July 1885 in the parish of North Petherton, Somerset, England ^[1]. This suggests he was born near Bridgwater, Somerset, England, and is consistent with the birth of his older brother in 1883. However, I could not find his birth registration despite extensive searches on FreeBMD and GRO. (Rosser-226 14 May 2024).
