Wickcliffe was born in 1867. She was the daughter of Robert Cooper and Sarah Venable. She passed away in 1938.

She married Robert Wells Covington 1856–1949 at Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky on May 18, 1892. [1]

She was a 19th-century and early-20th-century American woman painter. [2]

She never knew her father; he died a few weeks before she was born. Her father had been a Union Army cavalry officer during the Civil War. [3]
