I'm fifth generation Australian of Irish, N.E Scottish descent, Norse English French and Jewish Diaspora. There's a genealogist in the family, we've all tested over three genealogical sites. We all have Gedmatch numbers.
This is my only source. You can access the Cook Family Tree by rillwater at Ancestry. Access this large tree by going to Ancestry.au and search anyone in my wiki tree by adding their name and dates in the Ancestry search bar. This will bring you to choose the above tree, where you can search the tree as a guest.
Featured Auto Racers: Lucinda is 21 degrees from Jack Brabham, 20 degrees from Rudolf Caracciola, 21 degrees from Louis Chevrolet, 24 degrees from Dale Earnhardt, 38 degrees from Juan Manuel Fangio, 16 degrees from Betty Haig, 26 degrees from Arie Luyendyk, 18 degrees from Bruce McLaren, 22 degrees from Wendell Scott, 24 degrees from Kat Teasdale, 23 degrees from Dick Trickle and 28 degrees from Maurice Trintignant on our single family tree. My name is John Kingman. I am a Coordinator with the WikiTree DNA Project.
Since you have started following a DNA tag, you may be interested in how you can use DNA test matches with your relatives to strengthen your genealogy on WikiTree. You will find the answers in the Help pages, of which the DNA Help category page shows all the DNA help that is available, and the How to Get Started with DNA page is highlighted. Also the DNA Features page can show you various ways that DNA tests can work with your genealogy.
You may see some relatives show up in your list of "DNA Connections" on your profile if they have added a DNA test to their profile. These DNA Connections are possible DNA test matches, they are not sufficient for marking parental relationships as "confirmed with DNA" without providing a DNA Confirmation source citation providing details of an acceptable DNA match.
When you are ready to start documenting that your genealogy sources are confirmed by DNA test matches, be sure to follow the guidance at the DNA Confirmation help page. Also, I strongly recommend using the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker, for creating and/or validating your DNA confirmation source citations. Note that a profile should not be marked "confirmed with DNA" without source citations for both genealogy and relevant DNA test matches.
If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to ask on the G2G Forum using the Tag "DNA" and/or "DNA_Confirmation".
Happy hunting!
Also, Ive been a member since 19th aug 2019. But Discord has me as joining wikitree today, with a different number automatically there before i edited my server profile. First i used 1026, then i used (Cook-30049), but have yet to get a verification, 2 hours later.

Did you see that we have a tutorial course available now? See https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1507670/have-you-heard-about-the-wikitree-academy#q1507670
Thanks for volunteering! I accepted you as a full member of the WikiTree community, and you can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions. I hear that you can do the tags on you profile on your android phone but it is not so easy to do. Anyway, give it another try at a later stage.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)

I hope you are well. Lucinda Cook here, 3 1/2 years later!! I finally have a computer and have begun fulfilling my promise to the professional genealogist in the family. Now I am dropping everything else and prioritising building my wiki tree from scratch and entering as much of our Ancestry tree info into my wiki tree as possible before the January 19 challenge collaboration with the Australian Genealogists.
It has been a huge learning curve for me, the past 2 weeks: new computer skills; breaking through a brick wall in our Ancestry tree; gearing up for this collaboration; and finding my way around the Wiki site.
Thank you again for your work accepting me as a full member all those years ago, it really enabled me to get a Discord account quickly and jump right in to Wiki now! I have been so chuffed that this was "Something I prepared earlier".
I have been reaching out to several profile managers already, and need to figure out how the Sources entries work, as the help page examples do not look like record references, i.e birth, baptism, marriage, death, burial, probate, but some big book or other, which I find very odd. Apart from that, I find Wiki wonderfully set up and explained and friendly with so many helpful guides and guidance. It is really refreshing to know that everyone here has a tree and wants to grow it!!!!! Yours, Lucinda
