Biography
James Clarkson was born on April 19, 1816, in Thorp Arch, Yorkshire, England, his father, William, was 25 and his mother, Sarah, was 26. He married Margaret Ellen Turner in 1837. They had ten children in 20 years. He died on June 23, 1890, in Stanley, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 74, and was buried in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
