James Clarkson died young.
James was born in 1822. His parents were David Clarkson and Elizabeth Gothard. He was christened on 10 November 1822 at Silkstone, Yorkshire. [1]
James died 1838 when he was 16 years old. [2] He was a victim of the Huskar Colliery disaster. His 11 year old sister, Elizabeth Clarkson, died in the same disaster. [3] They were buried on 7 July 1838 in Silkstone Church Yard with the other children who died the same day.[4]
