James Clarke was born in Scotland.
James was born in 1822. He was the son of James Clarke and Margaret McLean.
In the 1841 census, James (age 18), Print Cutter Ap, was in Craighead, Campsie, Stirlingshire.[1]
James married Barbara Campbell on 10 November 1844 in Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland.[2]
In the 1851 census, James (age 28), Police Officer, was the head of household on Dunmore Street, Balfron, Stirlingshire.[3]
He passed away in 1893.[4]
