Biography

Sarah Frances Clark was baptised in 1804 in St Clement's church in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Clark and his wife, Elizabeth.^[1][2]

In 1828 Sarah married John Ekins at St Giles's church in Cambridge. The bride was of the parish of St Giles and the groom from St Clement's.^[3] The couple lived on Knowles Yard in 1841. John worked as a servant and Sarah (also known by her middle name, Frances) was a dressmaker.^[4] John died in 1843 at the age of 46.^[5]

Frances married Joseph Fuller in 1845.^[6] The family lived at 4 Terrace Lane in 1846, when their son, Joseph, was born. Joseph senior worked as a fruiterer.^[7]

A Joseph Fuller was a witness at Frances's first wedding.
