I joined to find informaiton that will fill in the gaps of my Campbell Family ancestry. My Great Great Grandfather (Robert Campbell b. 1823) and Grandmother (Mary Ann) immigrated to the US in 1856. They came from Scotland and likely Midlothian, Edinburgh. Marriage records show a possibile union of Robert and Mary Ann, 1852, Airdrie, Scotland (near Glasgow). They left Liverpool on the Franklin King and arrived at Port NY, went on to 7th Ward PA, then Stark Co. IL. Eventually landing in Barton Co. KS. Robert and Mary Ann had a number of children in IL including the youngest, my Great Grandpa, Robert Joseph Campbell b. 1880. Shortly after his birth they moved to Kansas and my Grandfather Forrest Parvin b. 1897, and my dad Robert Joseph b. 1935 were born.
