Biography

William Byers was born in 1826 in Kentucky. He was the son of John Riley Byers and Elizabeth Anderson.

He married Eleanor Stutsman on 01 May 1849.^{[citation needed]}

William, Eleanor, and daughter Elizabeth were living in Woodstock, Schuyler county, Illinois in 1850.^[1] He was also listed in Woodstock in 1855 and 1860^[2][3]

William passed away in 1862 and is buried in Naught-Wainman cemetery in Ripley, Schuyler county, Illinois.^[4]
