Biography

Peter Burmeister was born about 1639. He was the hereditary lease holder of farm no. 3 in Oldendorf II. He was married to Marlena with whom he had at least three children, including son Jürgen Hinrich Burmeister. The last nine years of his life he was blind. He died at the farm on Christmas Day 1720 and was buried in Natendorf on 27 December 1720.

It's quite easy to take the pre-1700s test. Once you've done that and been approved, you should be able to edit these. And I'd encourage you to do so, not least for your category work! Pre-1500s then is a different kettle of fish and much more difficult to attain, so even I haven't done that one ... ;-)

Oh I'm a dummy. I already had taken the pre-1700s early on. I had confused myself thinking I couldn't edit before 1700 for some silly reason, but obviously 1500 I can't.
