Name: Maud Burghersh, daughter and co-heiress of John Burghersh, Knight, Lord Kerdeston,^[1] by Ismaine de Hanham.^[2]

Name: Maud Chaucer^[1]

Birth

Birth: about 1379, (Age 12 in 1391), of Ewelme, Oxfordshire, England^[2]

Marriage and Children

Maud Burghersh married Thomas Chaucer, son of Geoffrey Chaucer by Philippe de Roet, about 1395.^[2] Maud's husband Thomas was Speaker of the House, Sheriff & Escheator of Oxfordshire & Berkshire, Sheriff of Hampshire, and Chief Butler to King Richard II and to King Henry IV.^[3] Thomas and Maud had one daughter, Alice Chaucer.^[2]

Death

Maud's husband Thomas died at Ewelme, Oxfordshire, England, 18 Nov 1434, and was buried in the chancel of the church there.^[2]

Maud (Burghersh) Chaucer died 27 April 1437.^[2]
