My brother in law Virgle Brownfield did extensive research on his Brownfield family. When he passed his family info went to other family members so I do not have his sources at hand but I do have his GEDCOM on file. Virgle Brownfiled shows this Charles Brownfield as son of Empson and Charity Brownfield as listed on this page. However he also lists their Charles and Jane's children as follows Harriet, Theron, Hayes, Pallastine, Robert B, Ann, Mary Jane, Empson Jr and Sarah. He does NOT have a Charles listed for this family. In my brother in laws data he lists Charles Albert Brownfield as the son of William Brownfield and Elizabeth unknown maiden name Brownfield along with his brothers and sisters and his research notes for this conclusion. William Brownfield is shown as the son of Richard Brownfield and Sarah Unknown maiden name Brownfield and lists all their children. He shows Richard to be the son of Charles Brownfield and Elizabeth Bird Brownfield and lists their children as well. If anyone has more info or documents that prove otherwise please notify Cindy Brownfield so we can compaire info. Above posted by Cindy Brownfield Charles Benjamin Brownfield
