Biography

John Gordon Branagan was born around 1835 in County Cork, Ireland,^[1][2] the son of Elizabeth (Gordon) Branagan and John Branagan.^[1][2][3]

He was a fruiterer in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.^[4]

He married Margaret Stakelum on 19 August 1858 at St. Mary of the Angels, Geelong, Victoria.^[1][5] Their children were:
