Phoebe was born in February 1876[1][2] in Bass River, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Unknown Beers and Annie (McLeod) Beers.[3][4] (see research notes)
Phoebe (20) married Charles Wallace Howe (36) on May 1, 1895 in Saint John. A full 16 years older than Phoebe, he was a son of George Baxter Howe and Margaret Ann (Lawson) Howe. Charles was a painter from Saint Martin's.[5]
Their family lived in St. Martins Parish, Saint John, New Brunswick.[1][2]
Phoebe died on March 15, 1928 at the age of 54 of Tubercolosis.[3] She was interred at the Mosher Hill Cemetery in Saint Martin's.[4][6]
