Ezekiel Beers was born in Connecticut, United States, 24 June 1793, died 25 Dec 1859 at New Canaan, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA,^[1] son of Ezekiel Beers (1758-1795) and Sarah (Platt) Beers (abt. 1759-1846); married 10 Sept 1818 to Abigail St. John, born abt 1800, died 24 May 1886, daughter of Abijah St John (1772–1859) and Hannah (Hendricks) St. John (1773–1862) of New Canaan, CT; buried at Silvermine Cemetery, New Canaan, Connecticut.^{[2] [3]}
