Rebecca Andrews, wife of Samuel Benedict, was identified as the daughter of Thomas Andrews, son of Robert and Elizabeth Andrews of Ipswich, by The Genealogy of the Benedict Family in America.[1] However, according to Anderson's Great Migration, Thomas died unmarried on July 10, 1683, [2] in Ipswich, so he is likely not the father.
Rebecca Andrews, daughter of Francis Andrews and wife Anna, lived in Groves family Stratford, prior to 1763; She married in Norwalk, 7 July 1678, Samuel Benedict of Norwalk.[4]
