Margaret Anderson was born in 1821 in Tennessee, United States.

Margaret (17) married John A Griffin (20) (born in 1818 in Wilson, Tennessee; son of Sion Griffin and Sarah (Webb) Griffin) on February 4, 1839 in Wilson, Tennessee.[1] Their son was James Porter Griffin (1839–1919).
