My convict ancestors include: Richard Reynolds and Mary Hipwell aboard the Mary Ann in 1791, William Singleton per Pitt 1792, John Riley or Royle per Eliza 1822, and William Hampton per Lloyds II in 1837. My namesake Charles Jones was also almost certainly convict, but I'm still trying to figure out which one. My wife also has a number of convict ancestors.
