Could there be any connection to Veddige, Halland, Sweden? Anders Larson (1805-) or Andreas Anderson (1835-1880)

Anders Larsson (1805 - ) married Christina Andersdotter (1807 - ) on 27 Nov 1834 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden.  Anders may be the father of Andreas Andersson, my great grandfather (who may have had surname of Andreasson when born), whom I cannot find or trace after probable emigration to USA in 1891.  One of his sons, my grandfather, Johan Berndt changed name to Joh B Anderson when emigrating and took name John B Wendell upon immigrating to DeKalb, DeKalb, Illinois, USA. One son, Karl Johan changed name to Carl Anderson during an earlier emigration but cannot be located in the USA under that name.  He was supposed to have gone to Batavia, Kane, Illinois, but no record substantiates his existence there. Andreas is equally lost after emigration – he appears to have changed his name.

If you go to www.familysearch.org and put in the name Anders Larsson b-1805 place of birth Sweden. Then click Spouse and put Christina Andersdotter you will see a number of children.
I added Sweden as a tag so that people with knowledge of and interest in Sweden can help you.
I'm sorry, what is the connection between Helge Andersson that you have linked to and your Anderssons? Or is that what you are asking? If there is a connection?
Ask the same question as Lena Svensson.... Helge Andersson lived in the 1600 what connection do you see

In Sweden we have patrinymicon ==> if the father was Anders then the son had surname Andersson and the daughter Andersdotter

Good video about researching in Sweden was done by Ancestry

Chris, Magnus, Lena ... Despite the delay in replying, I appreciate all the help. Lena and Magnus - forgive me ... I have NO IDEA how I put out my request under Helge Andersson.  Maybe burn-out.  I became so frustrated searching "in Swedish" that I gave up and concentrated on my English pioneers instead. Two genealogists at Lund had provided me with dates and names for the extended part of a family but it never led to anything substantial on the core direct blood line.  I didn't get any matches at  Family search (and will try again) but I did look into arkivigital again and didn't seem to have the same issues as before. Finding out that Andreas was in Sweden in 1900 helped resolve  "assumptions" that slipped in along the way.  (For whatever reason, I reversed the given and surnames and got myself in trouble. Thanks for the help and encouragement - I am re-energized and glad to see that arkivdigital is still there waiting for me and that I have "team" support. Third time's a charm, right!  Now if I can just figure out how to add my sources to the information I have contributed to WikiTree, I should be on a roll.  I just don't  absorb the subscript and link process. There is nothing better than a well sourced piece of info ... I really need to get the process figured out.  Thanks
;-)

Hello!  I am an Anderson and believe my great great grandfather is Andreas Anderson. My great grandfather is Carl Anderson who settled in Batavia, IL who I believe from reading your post is the same Carl Anderson!. My family has traced some of our ancestry back to Veddige, Sweden. My father Aaron (Andreas) Anderson is from Batavia, IL.

I changed the link to point to the Anders Larsson I believe is involved in this, since Anders Helgesson does not seem to have anything whatsoever to do with the question.

Finally got to this.  This is NOT my grandfather's wife and Johanna Dresler, Rudolph don't appear to have anything to do with MY Johan Berndt.  He married Anna-Lina Samuelsdotter Wedberg after both lived on adjacent Wabranna farms, emigrated to USA and married in Troy Grove, IL 1 year after her arrival in Chautauqua.  They eventually settled in DeKalb, IL where they lived out their entire lives.  My grandmother, Anna Lena, died 31 Mar 1944 2 months before I was born, but my grandfather Johan Berndt (aka John B Wendell in the USA) lived and died in DeKalb, DeKalb County, IL on 06 Apr 1952.
Hi Karen!
